Visiting Hours
All Visitors to Hirondelle Private Hospital are asked to observe the following visiting restrictions for the safety of our patients and staff.
Visitor Restrictions
Due to the current spreading of COVID-19, NSW Healthe Care Hospitals have reinstated Amber Alert protocols. These protocols help keep us all safe and assist to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
As a result, the following restrictions are in place:
- 1 nominated visitors per patient/per stay between 12.30pm - 1.30pm
- All visitors must wear a mask at all times whilst in the hospital (where possible to supply their own mask)
- No visitors who reside in northern area of the Northern Beaches (or who have been to hotspots) will be allowed on site except in the case of an emergency
- Children under 16 are not to visit
- Visitors must adhere to the 4 square metre rule
- All visitors must complete the COVID-19 screening before entry (QR Code or screening form)
- All visitors must have their temperature checked upon entry
- All visitors must continue to adhere to infection control precautions whilst in the hospital
Visiting Areas
In consideration of all patients and visitors, please be mindful of noise levels when using our common areas.
There is a patient lounge room with vending machine facilities located in the North Wing (via lift).
There are no visiting facilities for day patients.
Children
Visitors under 16 years of age are not permitted entry.
