Dr Toon Kin Chiam

Dr Toon Kin Chiam is a general adult psychiatrist, specialising in the treatment of mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders, personality disorders, addictions and old age psychiatric disorders. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide in 1999 before moving to Sydney and completing specialist psychiatry training (FRANZCP) in 2006. Kin has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, and previously held a senior staff specialist role in the Northern Sydney Local Health District. He was also a VMO psychiatrist at Wesley Hospital Ashfield for 13 years. He takes a collaborative and tailored approach with his patients, using a combination of psychological interventions and pharmacotherapy.
