Children under 16 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
In special circumstances, visits outside these hours may be arranged. Please speak with our nursing team for assistance.
On arrival, visitors are asked to check in at the nursing station.
For clients in shared accommodation, visits should take place in designated common areas. We ask all visitors to be mindful of noise and respect the shared environment.
Clients are expected to attend scheduled group programs as part of their treatment plan. For this reason, visits during program times are not permitted, except in exceptional circumstances approved by the treating psychiatrist.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Hirondelle Private Hospital is a smoke-free facility in line with NSW Health Smoke-free Health Care Policy. Smoking is not permitted within hospital buildings or grounds, except in designated outdoor smoking areas.
This policy helps protect the health and wellbeing of clients, staff, and visitors, and reduces exposure to second-hand smoke.
We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone in our care.
Abusive, aggressive, or threatening behaviour towards staff, clients, or visitors will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
